Perhaps Spielberg's most emblematic masterpiece; unsucessfully re-re-released in 2002, after a better attempt in 1985. So, here's the trailer that preceded the return of cinema's most adored little alien in this new millenium.
E.T. may be the best movie Steven Spielberg has ever made. And according to some the definition of movie-making as a whole. It's the touching story of a lonely boy who finds a stranded alien who's left behind by his comrads. Quickly their friendship blossoms until the boy realises his friend needs to go home. The film was released in 1982 (this year will be the twenty-fifth anniversary) and was re-released in 2002 with some extra touches. This clip is a tribute to a classic in movie-making history. The song is 'Our Farewell' by the Dutch band Within Temptation. 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial' is property of Universal Studios. 'Our Farewell' is property of Within Temptation.
