This is seriously the most decrepit that I've ever seen Iggy. It was back when he was reduced to schmoozing with Tom Snyder and releasing soulless 80s rock albums to support his smack habit. Fortunately, his career finally rebounded in the early 90s, when HBO hired him to host their new show Tales from the Crypt.

This great video shows Snyder talking about a great many important issues and also he reads and discusses some of his work.

This is part 1 of the (in)famous interview, where Johnny Rotten (John Lydon) and Tom Snyder offence each other on a different kind of level on-air, on Tom Snyder Tommorow Show, 1980. Keith Levene was Johns associate in their band at the time, Public Image Limited. He is also being interviewed.

http://kucinich.us TV pioneer Tom Snyder interviews Mayor Dennis Kucinich at Tony's Diner Broadcasting pioneer and legend Tom Snyder, who passed away Sunday, July 29, came to Cleveland in 1978 to interview then-Mayor Dennis Kucinich. It was "classic" Tom Snyder, and we offer this video to pay tribute to him and to the style and approach that set him apart from other broadcasters. "Tom Snyder was an innovator and a very serious journalist who really mastered the in-depth analytical interview," Congressman Kucinich said on hearing of Snyder's passing. "He was very funny, he was bold...it was an honor to be on his show. He asked tough questions, and I will miss him, " said Kucinich . We all will. And here's an example of why.

Seeing as how we only have a few other interviews with Rand up here on Youtube, I thought I'd add this one to the list. Lesser known then the Phill Donahue or Wallace ones, it is still a treat to see her in action.
